Why spaceX built Stainless Steel starships?

What is a starship?
Starship of all the space related travel of modern times has been interplanetary and accomplishing interstellar travel will be a tremendous breakthrough for our species. Interstellar travel will provide answers and solutions to the future of our existence. A starship can be classified as a spacecraft designed for interstellar travel.
It must be able to travel at speed faster than light or make use of a shortcut as provided by wormholes to reach a destination far away from earth. Spacex is actively working on the first interplanetary ship starship. The pioneering generation of starships will accomplish much less than interstellar travel. Nonetheless, it provides a foundation that is crucial to reach the ultimate goal initially known as a big falcon rocket. Elon Musk announced a change of craft feeling that the name is more suited for the end goal and future versions of starships.

What is the purpose of starships?

The intention of starship is to aid humans in becoming a multi-planet species. In the short term, it will enable the transport of the large payloads up to date and further down the line it will provide transport for a high number of people to another planet. Whether it be to and from the moon or Mars.
Additionally, it has the ability to support earth to earth transport which will enable long distance tropes to be completed within an hour. The main selling point of starship is that it will be the first of its kind to be fully reusable. Reusability in this case means that star ship will be fully Reusable after landing and its booster called super heavy will detect from the main ship after entering low earth orbit, re-enter the earth's atmosphere and successfully land on the launch pad to be used again without any refurbishment as well as serving the purpose of starship refillable.

Why are starships build from stainless steel ?

The large diameter of starship is the most noticeable this large diameter is due to a pressurized volume of a thousand cubic meter which can hold a cargo load of up to 150 metric tons or 100 people at first the main material selection of starship seems counter-intuitive with material such as aluminum and carbon fiber that is lighter and provides adequate strength,  steel  steel doesn't seem like a good choice due to starship being fully reusable.
It will sent from and re-enter the earth's atmosphere for ascent you want something that is strong at cryogenic temperatures due to the liquid oxygen propellant and for entry a scorching heat must be withstood this is where high quality Stainless Steel 301 alloy starts to shine at cryogenic temperatures the stainless exhibits an increase in strength thus not having an issue of the material becoming brittle steel can easily operate at temperatures of around 840 degrees Celsius whereas both aluminum and carbon fibre are unable to operate.

At these temperatures as required another benefit of the Stainless Steel is that heat shielding on the back side is unnecessary the side facing the wind does however require a means of cooling and will be the first to feature regenerative heat shield this heat shield will operate by means of transpiration cooling where a double walled shell with either water or  fuel flowing between Stainless Steel layers of micro openings on the outer side of the shell provide an exit to the fluid the heat at the windward side will then be marginally absorbed by the fuel and thus cool this side of starship.

Although Stainless Steel is the heavier material choice, it provides overall better properties for the extreme operating circumstances of the spacecraft as well as being the more economical approach we will be part of the generation that colonizes Mars.

Why spaceX is building the starship?
Tesla changed the way the public electric car's CEO Elon Musk's other company SpaceX is disrupting the aerospace industry in the same way, but their newest creation is by far the wildest yet. Today we are looking at why spaceX built a Stainless Steel starship. The new starship is a novel for a number of reasons, but the most remarkable feature is the steel frame.
Those who don't know steel is many times heavier than aluminium, carbon fibre and other materials usually use rockets. This makes a huge difference when a racket is trying to break through the Earth's atmosphere. Even an extra once of weight can adversely affect the success of the mission. In fact, wd40 was initially invented to spray over an atlas missile to prevent water from forming on the outside simply because this would reduce weight. Added by painting the Missile, so why exactly is tesla using stainless steel when lighter materials are available as with many corporate decisions all come down to price. In a recent interview with popular mechanix mask explained what motivated the switch, the expensive was One factor: Carbon fibre costs 135 Dollars. per kg and 35% of material must be scrapped. You cut the fabric and some of it. You can't use the spacex founder and CEO, so the true cost of material is nearly 200 per kg compared to just $3 for stainless steel. He added Stainless Steel melting point is also a big advantage. Musk said popular mechanics editor-in-chief Ryan d'agostino is typically aluminium or Carbon fibre for a steady state operating temperature. You are really limited to about 300 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not that high. Musk said you can take a little brief excursion above that, maybe 350-400 if you are really pushing it. It weakens and There are some carbon fibre that can take 400 degrees foreign heat, but then you have strength knockdowns, but still you can do 1500 or 1600 degrees foreign heat The Starship is the main to be an interplanetary vehicle meaning it will have to cope with speeds of up to 13000 mph and temperatures out beyond 3000 degrees fahrenheit this is well above the maximum service temperature both aluminium alloys and carbon fibre composites entry into Mars atmosphere has been achieved multiple times but with nothing as heavy as The Starship will be. It will not be easy. task for it to Slow Down in order to properly slow down the Mars atmosphere. The Starship will have to maintain a heavy angle of entry for a long period of time. The amount of drag creates an enormous amount of heat because spaceX will use stainless steel.Stainless Steel the Starship will require a significantly lower amount of heat shielding turn. This saves a lot of weight and money. and goes a long way towards the future. space Travels that must envisions then in March 2020 spaceX announced that it would use the same material in a Tesla company cyber truck stainless steel alloy. Space X is still committed to Stainless Steel for both the 100 passenger Starship and the super heavy giant rocket that will launch. The ship off earth the company will just migrate to a different alloy horse; constituents will tweak over time. Elon Musk said we should be able to do better in 2020 than they did in the fifties. You know the mark set during a keynote conversation at the satellite 2020 conference, as reported by space.com, so we will start switching away from 301. We are rapidly changing like constants. and farming methods are so traditional names like 3041 will become an approximation the billionaire entrepreneur said in a tweet at the time of Cyber trucks and unveiling Last year Tesla said cyber trucks exoskeleton would be made from an ultra hard 30x cold rolled stainless steel structural skin similar to tesla Armor Glass electric motor musk had claimed that The vehicle would be fabricated out of the same material used in space X Star ship rocket the automaker had also said that if there was something better we would use it while alluding to the need for the eliminating dents and damage and affording passengers maximum protection.
