While most kids are still learning the basics of life in their pre-teens, that's not the case for Laurent Simon. When he was younger, even younger than now, Laurent Simon was raised by his grandparents. They were telling their mother and father he seemed very smart. The nine year old has IQ. That puts him just under Einstein and Stephen Hawking, but above about 99.9 of everyone else, just earned his bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Antwerp. At age 11, he says he wants to use his rapidly increasing knowledge to make humans immortal. He not only received a bachelor's degree, but he received it summa laude meaning with the greatest honor he did in just a year, which would normally take a regular human three years ago. He told the Dutch daily the telegraph that it didn't matter to him if he was the youngest person to receive a bachelor's degree. It was all about gaining knowledge for him.
